  • A Traffic Enforcement Request Form may be submitted when a resident, school official or business owner feels there is a chronic traffic problem. This form may be completed and submitted online.

    Please be specific regarding the day(s) of the week, times and locations the violations are occurring to fully address the issue.

    For parking complaints, and other vehicle concerns -  Report a vehicle concern using the San José 311 mobile app (for Apple or Android) or website, or dial 3-1-1 to speak with our customer service center by phone.

    Vehicle concerns that may be reported include:

    • Lived-in vehicle
    • Trash/sewage around a vehicle (not inside the vehicle or on the truck bed)
    • Vehicles in a park, creek or trail
    • Vehicles on private property
    • Vehicles in a poor condition, parked on a city street
    • Issue with how, where or how-long a vehicle is parked on a city street
    • Suspected vehicle-related criminal activity (drugs or prostitution)
    • Other vehicle concerns

    We are not able to tow lived-in vehicles, but City staff or nonprofit partners will attempt to reach out to the occupants to offer resources.

    Reports of any Parking compliance issues made using this form will not be reviewed or acted upon.
