  • We recommend you discuss swimming your dog with your veterinarian, to make sure there are no health factors that would make swimming a concern for your pet.

Do NOT feed your dog 3 hours prior to and 1 hour after your swim appointment to reduce the possibility of BLOAT. Please no treats in the pool.

  • The mission of the Canine Splash Zone and Pawsitively Unleashed! Canine Performance & Aquatic Center is to provide our canine client's with a safe and caring conditioning experience. To ensure the safety and health of all clients and guests, we require all clients to comply with the following rules & regulations. We run on schedule, if you are late you will use only the time remaining in your appointment, no refunds or credits will be applied. Vaccinations: Pawsitively Unleashed! does not require vaccinations beyond Rabies as required by WI State Law. It is up to each individual to understand vaccinations, vaccination schedules or alternative approaches and titers. Health: Client will certify his/her dog(s) has not been ill with a communicable condition in the last 15 days. Dogs that have been ill with a communicable condition in the last 30 days will require veterinarian certification of health to be admitted or readmitted. Kennel Cough: Pawsitively Unleashed! does not require the kennel cough booster as there are several strains of this infection and dogs with the vaccine are still susceptible. Kennel Cough (Bordetella) is a highly contagious upper respiratory infection. It is an airborne virus that pets commonly contract when they have had direct contact with other pets and/or have been exposed to an area where other pets have been. Fleas: All dogs will be checked for signs of fleas upon arrival and will not be admitted if signs of fleas are noticed. If you are using a topical flea/tick application it must be done no later than 48 hours before your appointment. A flea remediation fee may apply. Poop and the Pool: Clients are required to exercise their dog for elimination prior to access to the pool. Clients are required to pick it up. IF a client dog should defecate (or vomit) in the pool, a minimum $150.00 clean up charge shall apply. The client may also beheld responsible for the payment of all appointments in the following 24 hour period (which is the time required to reset the pool) Toe Nails: All dogs are required to have trimmed and filed (dremmeled) nails before use of any of the conditioning equipment. Toys: Clients are allowed to provide their dog with toys from home, but Pawsitively Unleashed! assumes no responsibility for such items. Toys may be used by client, from the deck of the pool, for retrieving as part of a prescribed after surgery protocol, for recreational exercise, or as part of a conditioning program. Payment: Payment is due at time of service. Multiple appointment packages must be paid for in advance, in full prior to first appointment. Payment by check, cash or credit card is available. Any check returned for NSF shall be assessed a $35.00 fee in addition to the amount owed.

Cancellations: We must be notified of any cancellation minimally 24 hours in advance of appointment by phone or email. Non-notified missed appointments are to be paid for in full and, in the case of multiple appointment packages, are considered a used appointment. Any client that misses more than one appointment will be expected to pre-pay for any future appointments. Pawsitively Unleashed! has the right to refuse any future appointments from clients who have missed or cancelled more than two appointments. Brushing: Client is required to brush out their dog prior to the swim appointment. We work hard to keep our water quality high and too much hair has a negative impact. Number of dogs: A maximum of 2 dogs in the pool is strictly enforced. An additional fee for the 2nd dog shall apply. Both dogs must be from the same home unit.
