Payment/Cancellation Policy: Payment for all fees incurred are due in full at the time services are rendered. Estimates/Treatment Plans are available upon client request. If an appointment is no-call/no-showed or canceled within 12 hours of the scheduled time, the equivalent of an exam fee will be placed on the account. This fee must be paid prior to scheduling any future appointments. This policy wasn’t created to be inconvenient – it was implemented to protect our doctors’ time and ensure that every available appointment slot can be used to help pets who need care. We also understand that life happens and sometimes things come up unexpectedly. We do allow a 10-minute grace period for late arrivals, but after that 10-minute mark, we’re unable to accommodate the appointment without it being a disservice to both you and your pet – as well as the patients scheduled after you. If an unforeseen emergency prevents you from making it to your appointment, management can review the situation to determine if the fee may be waived. We offer this as a one-time courtesy, but we ask that all communication around these situations remain kind and respectful toward our staff who are simply relaying hospital policy.

Veterinarian-Client-Patient Relationship (VCPR): The VCPR forms a foundation of understanding between the veterinarian and yourself regarding the care of your pet(s). AVCPR requires a veterinarian to assume the responsibility for providing care for the patient, and the client has agreed to follow the veterinarian’s instructions. The veterinarian must have recently physically examined the patient and be personally acquainted with the keeping and care of the patient in order to provide medical treatment(s) and/or dispense prescription medications.
