Tim Morehouse Fencing Club (TMFC) is nationally renowned for developing new fencers, fostering a deep love for the sport, and building a strong foundation in physical development and technical skill.

The Youth and Musketeers programs offer a structured and inspiring pathway for students ages 7–12 to enter the sport of fencing, while building the essential skills and foundation needed to become successful competitive fencers.

Length of Classes: Classes run 90 to 120 minutes, often preceded by a pre-class activity window of up to 45 minutes, where students work with class coordinators on routines that build footwork, balance, explosiveness, and strength—critical tools for long-term success in fencing.

Equipment: Students need group class equipment to participate in group classes.

Class "Pick-Up" Lessons vs. Member Private Lessons

Member Private Lessons, are 20-minute private lessons scheduled at a specific time with a designated coach and purchased in packs of 10 or 30. They are schedueld on a weekly recurring basis.

"Class Pick-up" lessons are integrated into your child’s regular class days, making them a seamless part of their routine. These sessions occur during either the first 30 minutes of class or students may arrive 45–60 minutes before class to participate in pre-class activities, during which time coaches will "pick-up" students for these sessions. These lessons are billing on a monthly recurring basis along with your class program.

These sessions can take the form of:

• 10-minute one-on-one lessons
• 20-minute partner lessons
• 30-minute small group sessions (4–6 students)

For students transitioning into group classes, pick-up lessons provide a perfect on-ramp and a valuable way to benefit from our most experienced coaches throughout the season.

This format offers unique benefits:

• Led by the same coaches who teach the group classes, pick-up lessons are closely aligned with the class curriculum—creating consistency, reinforcing progress, and accelerating each student’s development.
• A more dynamic and varied training experience
• Access to elite coaches—including Olympic Silver Medalist Tim Morehouse, Iba Keita, and Ziad El-Sissy—who may not have regular private lesson availability but set aside time specifically for pick-up sessions.

RATES AND BILLING
Class “Pick-Up” lessons are billed every month (Every 28 days), alongside your class membership.

The rates are:
– $200/month for 4 sessions
– $400/month for 8 sessions

Member Private lessons are sold in packs and can be renewed once your current pack is used. 10 lessons for $650 or 30 lessons for $1800.

Please note: We have a 24-hour cancellation policy. Missed lessons without proper notice will be charged.
