What is Financial Assistance?

GSMISTS is committed to helping all girls participate in Girl Scouting regardless of their family's income. To encourage participation, GSMISTS provides financial assistance to girl members only for membership.

Who can receive Financial Assistance?
Girls in grades k-12 who qualify can receive financial assistance for their first membership year in Girl Scouts.

Second year troops who have had the opportunity to participate in the Fall "Treats & Reads" Program and the Cookie Program must use troop funds to renew girl memberships. Financial Assistance is not available for girls in returning troops.
