Dear Community Service Organization,
It is with great pleasure that the Hernando De Soto Historical Society extends to you an invitation to participate at the Party in the Park, presented by the Early Learning Coalition of Manatee County, immediately following the De Soto Heritage Festival Children’s Parade on Friday, April 3, 2026.
The Party in the Park takes place at Sutton & Lamb Parks located at 6th St. W. and 10th Ave. W., Palmetto. We ask that you have your booth set up and ready by 9:00 am, the event will end at 1:00 pm.
This is a place to provide free resources and information for parents, while children can enjoy games, face painting, arts and crafts, and more! This allows you an opportunity to showcase your non-profit organization and gain exposure to hundreds of people. We encourage participants to have an activity set up for the children.
Spaces are available at no charge and must be reserved by submitting an application. You can set up a standard 8-foot table, which you must provide. Informational material must be non-political. Selling of goods to the public in a Community Service Display Area is prohibited.
The Party in the Park Community Service Area Application is attached, please review this carefully. We sincerely hope that you will give us your favorable response by March 27, 2026.
Sincerely,
Rob Bell
