    Summer Heat

    This is an open call for art for an exhibition at Arts Warehouse in Delray Beach, FL. The goal of the call for art is to accept multiple works by a small number of artists. Artists are able to submit 1 – 5 pieces for consideration. The works submitted can relate to each other from the same body of work or be individual works.

    Exhibition Details:

    The title of this Exhibition is Summer Heat

    “Summer Heat” aims to showcase work inspired by themes of relaxation, passion, color, tension, and even discomfort, reflecting the multifaceted nature of the season when days are longest and darkness is shortest. This exhibition is open to a variety of interpretations and the creation of something new.

    Possible inspirations: Color, environmental activism, romance, weather, vibrancy, warmth, sun on skin, energy, heat, relief, emotions

    Details and Dates:

    Artists of all levels are invited to submit to this open call for art. Artists must reside and work in Florida. Before submitting we encourage those interested to take at previous Arts Warehouse exhibitions to see the types of work has been exhibited. This Open Call is an opportunity to show a variety of types of art to our diverse audience. This call is open to artists who have shown at Arts Warehouse previously, and those artists that would be new to the gallery.

    Mediums accepted: 2D - painting, drawing, mixed media, photography, 3D - ceramics, sculpture, installation, and Video

    Exhibition Dates: July 10th – August 23rd, 2025

    Open call Submission Dates: April 1st – May 10th, 2025

    Accepted artists notified by: May 31st, 2025

    Gallery Drop-off/Shipped dates*: June 25th – July 8th, 2025
    *Specific available drop-off dates and time options will be given.
    *Please note that round trip shipping will be the responsibility of the artist.

    Exhibition Opening Event: Thursday, July 10th 5pm – 8pm

  • ART SUBMISSIONS

    Artists are welcome to submit 1 - 5 works to be considered for "Summer Heat". Enter Title, Medium, Size, Year in the "Work details" text line. For each piece submitted, please upload up to two images. All images must be high resolution and a clear representation of the work. Please submit a statement and description about each piece. *Please include information about any display criteria or items such as frames, pedestals, hanging structures, etc. Video works will be submitted at the end of this form.
