    1. Eligibility and Selection of the Recipient:
The year of free care will be donated to one parent/child selected based on demonstrated need. The recipient will be chosen at the sole discretion of the childcare centre, following a thorough review of the applicant's circumstances. The decision will be made based on factors including, but not limited to, financial hardship, family situation, and specific challenges faced by the family. The centre's decision regarding the selection of the recipient is final and binding.

    2. Duration of Free Care:
The free care will be provided for a period of one year, commencing on the 26th of May 2025 and concluding on the 22nd of May 2026. After this period, the childcare services will revert to the standard fee structure, unless otherwise agreed upon.

    3. Eligibility for Other Subsidies:
In the event that the family becomes eligible for Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS), the family is required to inform the childcare centre immediately. In such cases the ACCS will take precedence and may override the free care provision.

    4. Late Payment & Late Pick-Up Fees:
The free care does not cover additional charges incurred by the family for late pick-up fees etc. If the family incurs any such fees, they are required to settle these payments in full by the specified deadlines. Failure to pay these charges within the agreed time frame may result in the suspension or termination of the free care arrangement. The childcare centre reserves the right to review and take appropriate action in the event of non-payment.

    5. Non-Transferable:
The free care offer is strictly non-transferable. It cannot be assigned, transferred, or used by any other individual, family, or child other than the original recipient, as selected by the childcare centre.

    6. Non-Transferable for Cash or Monetary Value:
The free care offer cannot be redeemed for cash, or any form of monetary compensation. The value of the care provided is not refundable or exchangeable.

    7. Eligibility of New and Existing Families:
The free care offer is open to both new families and existing families (enroled at Kenwick Childcare Centre) who meet the eligibility requirements. Families with existing enrolments are eligible to apply, provided they meet the selection criteria set forth by the childcare centre.

    8. No Retroactive Application to Pre-existing Fees:
In the event that the family selected for the free care arrangement already has a pre-existing enrolment with the childcare centre, the free care will not be applied retroactively to any past payments or fees. It will only apply to care provided during the specified free care period and cannot be used to offset outstanding or previous fees.

    9. No Substitution of Care:
The free care is provided solely for the child selected in the application process and cannot be transferred or substituted for care of another child within the same family or any other individual, whether within the family unit or outside of it. The free care must be utilized by the designated child only and at Kenwick Childcare Centre only. The free care provided is not redeemable for any other childcare centre other than Kenwick Childcare Centre.

    10. Limit of One Child per Family:
In cases where a family has multiple children attending the childcare centre, only one child is eligible to receive the free care. The family must designate which child will receive the free care at the time of acceptance, and the offer cannot be split among multiple children.

    11. Enrolment: The family chosen will have to go through the correct enrolment process and will have to provide all essential documentation to the centre including but not limited to, the childs birth certificate and immunisation records.

    12. Termination of Free Care:
The childcare centre reserves the right to terminate the free care arrangement at any time and with immediate effect if the family breaches any of the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement or if the family no longer meets the eligibility criteria for the free care. In the event of termination, the family will be required to pay for care provided from the date of termination, based on the standard fees.

    13. Acknowledgement of Receipt:
By accepting the offer of free care, the family acknowledges that they have received, reviewed, and understood these terms and conditions in full. The family further agrees to be bound by these terms for the duration of the free care period.

    14. Entire Agreement:
This document constitutes the entire agreement between the family and the childcare centre with regard to the free care offer. No other verbal or written representations, promises, or agreements outside of this agreement will be considered valid or binding. Any modifications or amendments to these terms and conditions must be made in writing and signed by both parties..
