    Grant Aid - Sports Grants Application

    Supporting Newark & Sherwood based voluntary clubs, coaches, officials, volunteers and talented individuals to achieve their aims and aspirations.

  • Active4Today Ltd has a grant funding scheme which can provide much needed funds to support the development of sport, recreation and leisure activity within the district. 

    Our Grant Aid Scheme is open to Newark and Sherwood based voluntary clubs, sports coaches, officials, volunteers and talented individuals* to help them to increase opportunities for people to be active, but also support talented athletes to supplement their sports training and exercise in our leisure centres.

    This may involve the introduction of new activities or the expansion of existing activities which will improve the range and quality of opportunity for people to access better sport, recreation and leisure activities leading to a more active and healthy lifestyle.

    Please be aware that applications must primarily benefit people within the district of Newark and Sherwood.  Grants will be awarded at the discretion of the panel and will not be awarded retrospectively.
