Power Over Predators Permission 2025

Dear Parent/Guardian,

CCMA Rodeo Bible Camp will be presenting the Power Over Predators program during camp. Power Over Predators is an evidence-based curriculum developed over 15 years of research and interaction with youth. Power Over Predators promotes healthy choices for youth with an emphasis on self-control and refusal skills in the areas of abuse, identifying online predators, the risks of explicit content, bullying, the signs of suicide along with skills needed for healthy friendships.

This important program will focus on what elements of Internet safety are most necessary for kids of this age. Additionally, we will also be talking about human trafficking as it is a growing concern for our youth and a rapidly increasing problem with 88% of sex trafficking cases being Internet based.

We respect your role and have no desire to assume parental responsibility in these matters, but simply want to enhance the good things you already do. Providing stronger support among your student’s peer group so they will also provide positive support to your student is our goal. You can preview the Student Course at your convenience and Power Over Predators also provides a Parent Series for your benefit.
