Making the Impossible Summer Camp 2025 Registration

Filmmakers have always been trying to make impossible realities come to life. Whether it’s spaceships, strange creatures, other worlds, or impossible feats, where there’s a will, there’s a way! In this camp, you will explore the world of visual effects by learning how to create and record physical and digital effects from the big screen.

What to expect:
🚀 Dive into the world of green screens and CGI,
💥 Learn the basics of Adobe After Effects,
🎬 Explore classic and modern examples of special effects in film,
🎨 Try your hand at practical effects techniques,
🎥 Collaborate with other campers to complete a film and watch it on the big screen!

Camp Cost

This camp is sliding scale, from $0-$500, pay what you can. Registrations at higher levels help make the camp economically accessible to those who could not otherwise afford to participate. Please plan to pay the amount you are able for this camp.

Refund Policy

In case your plans change, here is our policy on camp refunds:
- 100% refund if we receive your cancellation notice 10 calendar days before the first day of camp.
- Camps must meet a minimum enrollment requirement to launch, and may be cancelled if the camp does not meet a minimum number of enrolled students.
- Students will be notified in advance if there is limited enrollment for a camp, and can receive a full refund, which may take up to 30 business days to process and transfer.
