Rotterdam FIDE Congress - Three Sections

Getting to the venue by train is simple, you can take the Eurostar to Rotterdam. It is about 30 minutes walk from the station to the venue, or 20 minutes on the Tram number 6 or 4. Here is a map.

You must have a FIDE ID code linked to your Federation to participate. Please contact your Federation to obtain a code before entering! If you are Dutch this should be free if you have a Dutch rating code - go to https://ratingviewer.nl/ to check.
€45.00 to enter any section. If you are Under 18 it is €35.00. Donations are gratefully accepted!
An Open / Major Under 1900 / Minor Under 1650 of five rounds.
One round on Friday (7.00pm to a possible 11pm finish)
Two rounds on Saturday (10.00am, 2.30pm)
Two on Sunday (10.00am, 2.30pm)
90 minutes per player per game PLUS 30 seconds added every move. FIDE and KNSB rated. Other national ratings may be possible - speak to your Federations.
Players in the Open section may have any rating for either their FIDE or ECF. This is the top section. Grandmasters and International Masters should register for free entry.
- Players in the Major section must be Under 1900 in the FIDE and their national rating list at the time the event is played.
- Players in the Minor section must be Under 1650 in the FIDE and their national rating list at the time the event is played.
GUARANTEED PRIZES
In the OPEN = 1st €300, 2nd €200, 3rd €100 - these prizes will be shared in the event of a tie.
U1900 and U1650 sections = 1st €200, 2nd €100 - these prizes will be shared in the event of a tie.
Plus a rating prize of €80.00 in each section to be determined based on entries.
