Terms & Conditions of Service
1. Introduction
These Terms & Conditions govern all services provided by Global Express Services (Global Express Freight Division). By registering for or using our services, you agree to be bound by the terms outlined below.
2. Registration & Account Use
Customers must complete registration to access Global Express Freight services.
Upon registration, customers will receive their assigned shipping address and mailbox details via email.
Customers are responsible for maintaining accurate contact information.
Global Express reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misuse.
3. Shipping Address Policy
The assigned U.S. shipping address is for registered customers only.
The address must be used exactly as issued, including the customer’s name and suite number.
The address is confidential and must not be shared or used for unauthorized shipments.
Global Express is not responsible for packages sent without proper identification.
4. Services Provided
Global Express Freight offers:
Air freight (small package forwarding)
Ocean freight (LCL & FCL shipments)
Customs clearance and brokerage coordination
Delivery and pickup services
Purchasing and sourcing services (“Buy-for-Me”)
5. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
Provide accurate shipment details and valid invoices
Submit invoices before or upon arrival of goods
Ensure all shipments comply with import/export laws
Properly package items through their suppliers
Respond promptly to communication regarding their shipments
Failure to comply may result in delays, additional charges, or refusal of service.
6. Prohibited & Restricted Items
Customers must not ship prohibited or restricted items, including but not limited to:
Hazardous materials
Flammable or explosive items
Liquids via air freight (where restricted)
Illegal goods or undeclared items
Global Express reserves the right to refuse, return, or dispose of such items at the customer’s expense.
7. Shipping Schedule
(Air Freight)
Tuesday Arrival – Cut-off: Monday at 10:00 AM
Friday Arrival – Cut-off: Thursday at 10:00 AM
Schedules are subject to change due to airline operations, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
(Ocean Freight)
Weekly Sailing: Fridays
Cut-off (Miami Warehouse): Wednesday at 4:00 PM
Estimated Transit Time: Approximately 3 days
Ocean shipments include Less than Container Load (LCL) and Full Container Load (FCL) services. Refrigerated (reefer) cargo may be accepted subject to availability and prior arrangement.
⚠️ Cut-off times must be strictly observed to avoid rollovers to the following sailing.
8. Charges & Fees
All shipments are subject to applicable charges, including:
Freight charges (air or ocean)
Duties & Customs Processing Fee (CPF) (typically 35% of CIF value)
Handling & delivery fees
Storage fees (if applicable)
Purchasing/service fees (if applicable)
Payment Terms
Payment is required in full prior to delivery or pickup
Global Express reserves the right to hold shipments until payment is received
Additional charges may apply for overweight, oversized, or special handling cargo
9. Customs Clearance
Customers must provide accurate invoices and descriptions of goods
Duties and taxes are assessed by the Turks and Caicos Customs Department
Global Express acts as a facilitator and is not responsible for customs decisions
Delays due to missing documentation are the customer’s responsibility
10. Liability & Insurance
Global Express is not liable for:
Delays caused by airlines, shipping lines, or customs
Loss or damage due to supplier packaging
Acts of God, weather, or force majeure
Limited liability applies unless insurance is purchased
Customers are strongly encouraged to request cargo insurance for high-value shipments
11. Delivery & Pickup
Customers will be notified when shipments are ready
Delivery is scheduled based on availability and route
Customers must ensure accurate delivery details
Missed deliveries may incur additional charges
12. Storage Policy
Storage is limited and subject to availability
Shipments not collected within a reasonable period may incur storage fees
Unclaimed goods may be subject to disposal or sale after notice
13. Refusal of Service
Global Express reserves the right to refuse service where:
Terms are violated
Payments are outstanding
Shipments are deemed unsafe, illegal, or non-compliant
14. Indemnification
Customers agree to indemnify and hold harmless Global Express Services from any claims, damages, penalties, or liabilities arising from:
Incorrect shipment information
Violation of customs laws
Shipment of prohibited items
15. Amendments
Global Express reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Turks and Caicos Islands.
17. Acceptance of Terms
By registering and using Global Express Freight services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
