Medicine & Surgery Specialised Workshop

1. An applicant’s place is only secured upon full payment of camp fee. Applicant will have a window period of 7 days to make the full payment after the submission of his/ her application. A receipt to confirm the participation will be sent to all successful applicants via email.

2. Places in the program are allocated based on a first-come-first serve basis. After the intake has reached its maximum number of applicants, the rest of the applicants will be placed on a waiting list. Program Organizers are indemnified from any liability to guarantee each applicant for a place in the camp.

3. Cancellation, changes and modifications:

3.1 Camp schedule, including instructors are subject to change.
3.2 Program Organizers reserve the right to cancel or postpone any course at short notice; and at their absolute discretion without assigning any reason for such cancellations/postponements.

4. Cancellation/ withdrawal/ deferment:

4.1 An applicant with a confirmed place in the camp who wishes to withdraw from the camp must inform the Program Organizers in writing at least 6 weeks prior to the commencement date of the camp. He/ She is liable to pay for a withdrawal administrative fee of 20% of the camp fee.
4.2 No cancellation/withdrawal/deferment/refund requests will be entertained within 6 weeks from the commencement date of the camp.
4.3 To start the refund process, the candidate has to request for and submit a "Refund Request Form" to the program team.
4.4 After the receipt of the refund request form, camp fees will be refunded to the applicant after deducting the withdrawal administrative fee.
4.5 Refund Request Form must be submitted within 30 days of Program Completion date. Refund Requests received later this time period will not be considered.

5. There will be no makeup lesson for classes missed due to personal, medical or other reasons.

6. Certificates of Completion will be issued to students who have achieved at least 90% attendance rate. Duplicates/ Replacement of certificate can only be requested within 1 year from the date of camp completion date at S$50 per copy.

7. The organisers may need to share your personal data (eg name, contact details etc) with partners/third parties, to conduct program operations smoothly.

 

 

I, hereby declare that my child/ ward is participating in Medicine & Surgery Speaiclised Workshop 2025 (including the trip to and from Singapore) to be held from 01th July - 05th July 2025 (the “Event”) of his/ her own free will and volition, is aware of the risks involved and in consideration of being permitted by APCME and other organisers to participate in the Event for my child/ward and my successors, personal representatives and assigns: 

 a) Do hereby absolve, acquit and discharge APCME and other organisers, their officers, servants, employees, agents or volunteers from all or any responsibility, actions, causes of action, claims, demands and obligations whatsoever arising from any loss or damage (including without limitation and to the extent permissible by law, physical injury, loss of life or property damage) caused by or sustained as a result of my child’s/ ward’s participation in the Event; and

 

b) Will indemnify and keep indemnified, save and hold harmless APCME and other organisers, their officers, servants, employees, agents or volunteers against all losses, claims, demands, actions, proceedings, damages, costs, or expenses, including legal fees, and any other liability arising in any way from my child’s/ ward’s participation in the Event.
