The Rev It Up Hot Rod Street Fest Presents: The 2nd Annual Miss Rev It Up Pinup Contest!
CURRENTLY ACCEPTING ALTERNATES ONLY - please complete registration if you would like to be placed in line as an alternate! (no fee will be due unless you are notified for alternate spot)
Join us for the best and biggest hot rod party of the Fall to compete for the title of Miss Rev It Up 2025, at the 17th Annual Rev It Up Hot Rod Street Fest - a benefit for Ballard Center food pantry and community services (www.ballardcenter.org).
We're looking for a very special lady to carry the title of Miss Rev it Up—a modern pinup with vintage flair, a unique sense of style, and an undeniable presence; a lady who not only dazzles with poise and confidence but also embodies warmth, kindness, and compassion, making everyone feel welcome in her presence. Our Queen will be a true role model for service to the community and a reflection of the heart and soul of this event.
A panel of carefully selected judges will evaluate contestants in key categories: from overall appearance—including outfit, hair, makeup, and styling—to originality, stage presence, and personality. Equally important will be her rapport with others, her kindness towards fellow contestants, and her ability to ability to connect with others. Get ready to meet a remarkable group of women who each have their own unique spark!
Please read all Rules & Requirements and complete the questions in the entry fields below to register for the Miss Rev It Up Pinup Contest taking place on Saturday, September 27, 2025, 12:00 pm.
*$25 registration fee will be due with your submission (due later if submitting as an alternate). You may send your registration fee to Venmo @Shayla-Hopcraft, or PayPal birdymercury@gmail.com -please use friends and family if using PayPal.
Deadline to register as an alternate is September 18th.
Contestants must be 18 or over
If you aren't able to make it to the contest after you have registered please let me know as soon as possible via email at birdymercury@gmail.com *Entry fee is non-refundable.
Contest details, preparation, and instructions will be posted in our contest group on Facebook, which you will be added to after the contest deadline has closed.

Rules & Requirements - Please Read Prior to Submitting
- Interested participants may register by submitting 1 - 3 photos of your gorgeous self in your best pinup look/s. Professional photos are not required but are appreciated. No selfies, please. You will be contacted if a photo is not appropriate. If you have any questions about your photos or need help getting some - email me! We can help you work it out.
- Contestant images will be posted/promoted on the event Facebook pages.
- Participants must be 18 or over.
- We have 13 spots open for the contest - the first 13 qualifying submissions for entry will be accepted prior to the registration deadline. Alternates accepted.
- Contestants must check in with the contest host no later than 11:00 AM on Saturday, Sep 27, at the Rev it Up stage. Failure to check in may result in disqualification. Contest takes the stage at 11:30 AM (keep in mind there may be slight delays or schedule adjustments due to performances/bands ahead of the contest).
- Contest Outfit Guidelines:
- Our theme for the contest is All About Autumn, represented in 1940s to 1950s Classic Pinup and Vintage Fashion and Glamour looks. We want to see whatever inspires you about the season - Autumn leaves and rich, fall colors, Sweater girl & Collegiate plaids, Back to School, Fall Harvest... Maybe you're some Dark, Sultry, Spooky is your vibe! Let's see all your Autumn looks! 🍂🍁🍂🍁
- INSPO: outfits and styles inspired by the 1940s to 1950s pinup, vintage and vintage-inspired fashion. Make it your own and have fun with it! True vintage, vintage reproduction, custom-made, retro attire are all encouraged. We want to see your unique looks and that means be your authentic pinup girl self. *No swimwear, no lingerie, no burlesque costumes as outfits (subject to disqualification).
- Examples: Full circle skirts and dresses with big, fluffy petticoats, classic wiggle dresses, pencil skirts, capris, Hot Rod/Rockabilly girl, high-waisted jeans, 50's sweater girl tops, & vintage/retro style fit and flare, or post-war era dresses.
- Our car show is family-friendly and a fundraising event - wardrobe should reflect this. No risque outfits, no exposing or flashing; No lewd behavior, swearing, or distasteful behavior - subject to immediate disqualification.
- Contestants will score points on a scale of 1-6 in the following categories:
- 1) Hair & Makeup 2) Outfit, Styling & Overall Look 3) Stage Presence & Posing 4) Originality 5) Personality & Crowd Appeal, 6) Era Correctness & Consistency, And 7) Respect, Support & Kindness To Your Fellow Contestants
- Small stage props are allowed, but please don't leave anything behind (glitter, confetti, etc)
- We will have everyone stay on stage for a group photo directly after the contest.
- If a contestant's outfit is deemed inappropriate by contest host you may be asked to change or be disqualified. If you are unsure about your outfit, a backup outfit is recommended.
- Awards recognized for:
- 1st place: Miss Rev It Up! 2025 - $400 cash prize, sash, crown, trophy & goodie bag.
- 1st Runner Up - Sash & goodie bag
- 2nd Runner Up - Sash & goodie bag
- "Miss Kustom Cutie" for creativity and originality in Custom-made and Customized outfits! -Sash & goodie bag
- "Sweetheart of the Rev it Up" for the contestant that raises the most donations for our charity, Ballard Center - Sash, crown, goodie bag, and custom-made trophy by Sam Gomez
- Winners will be chosen on Saturday immediately after the stage portion of the contest by our panel of judges (TBA).
- After submission closes, all contestants will be asked to help us raise funds for our charity, Ballard Center, prior to the contest. Instructions on how we'll be sharing out our fundraisers will be sent out to everyone as we get closer.
- All event times are subject to change - we will notify contestants if this should occur in advance.
- We reserve the right to use participant images and/or likeness, name, photographs, and/or videotape captured during the Rev It Up Hot Rod Street Fest in promotional, advertising or merchandising purposes in any format or media.
- MOST OF ALL - HAVE FUN and be sure to stick around after the contest for Deke Dickerson - world-renowned roots and rockabilly music from Southern California (with midwestern roots!) - and of course, the car show, great food, vendors, and awesome people!
