At first glance, you might think "Geez, this is a little long - are all these questions really necessary?"

The answer is YES! We want to ensure the puppy and human family are a good match. Remember - a dog can live upwards of 10 years!

Every family is different, and there are no right or wrong answers. We know many families have two working adults and we don't expect anyone to be a superhero and quit a day job just to be able to take home a puppy. Every puppy family has different needs, and this application helps us identify what homes might make the best fit for our puppies. Whether you're an experienced or first time owner, we want to make sure you leave prepared for what life with a puppy may bring. So again, thank you!

What to expect
Completing this application is a step in the process to acquiring a puppy from Visgard, but it does not guarantee I'll get a puppy from this or any future litter. While it's unlikely, the breeder reserves the right to refuse any placement at any time. I understand that unless specified by the Breeder otherwise my puppy will be $3,000 AUD and any applicable tranport fees.

If this application is approved, you'll be notified of next steps. We do the best to match preferences. Deposits are non-refundable unless discussed otherwise.

We reserve the right to hold puppies. This may mean that puppies may not be allocated for a couple weeks while we decide on if we may keep our pickpuppy or not.

Puppies will go to their new homes at 9 weeks. We cannot hold puppies for extended times; it is critical for their social development that they settle in and socialise with their new world!

We have a contract and will not place a puppy without a signed contract. We believe it's the right thing to do to memorise our obligations to each other on paper so there are no questions later, and for that reason it's a bit lengthy. If you have questions about specific terms, you need to contact us prior to signing the contract.

Your puppy is sold on Limited Registration, which means you cannot show or breed your puppy. There may be financial ramifications should a dog be bred from on Limited Registration.
