How will the way we support adult learners to develop their core skills change and evolve between now and 2035?

If you’re reading this, you have been invited to participate in an environmental scanning process to help the ACFE Board understand the strategic opportunities and challenges we might face over the coming decades.

This process will take about 20-30 minutes of your time and ideally you should aim to capture between five to ten 'signals' that indicate how ACFE Board's future might be different today. Throughout the scanning process I'd like you to keep the following focus question front of mind;

"How will the way we support adult learners to develop their core skills change and evolve between now and 2035?"

The objective of the environmental scan is to capture 'signals' that indicate how the future might be different from today. These signals are often in the form of news articles, blog posts and research reports but are also found in personal conversations with colleagues and other professionals.

In this exercise we'd like you to capture at least 10 signals of change. For each signal, we'd like you to provide the following information

1. Signal Name - A short descriptive name for your signal
2. An explanation, example and/or a relevant url - provide some details or a link to help us understand the signal you've identified
3. What domain this change is happening in - Is this a political, environmental, social, technological, legal or economic change or a combination?
4. What are the underlying drivers of this change - Provide up to three underlying drivers of change
