-To seeking the leading and empowerment of the Holy Spirit in living a missional oriented life.
-To sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His ever-present kingdom.
-To discerning and living out our individual and corporate calling, vocation and place in this world as God's people.
-To serving our local and global community.
-To giving sacrificially of our resources for the common good and for the sake of the Gospel.
Corresponding Practices and Commitments:
By applying for membership to EPC, you indicate that you have carefully read and agree to uphold the following covenants.
-You are at least 18 years of age: EPC By-law, section 3.2.1.i.
-You will regularly attend EPC's public services: EPC By-law, section 3.2.1.h.
-To accept the Bible as the sole authority in all matters of belief, faith, and practice: 2 Tim.3:16-17; 1 Thess.2:13.
-To acknowledge Jesus Christ as our sole source of individual salvation and to be actively seeking to mature in personal faith and obedience in/to Him: Acts 4:12; 1 Corin.3:11; Matt.4:19, 11:28-30; Col.2:6-7; Acts 2:38; Acts 8; 10:47-48.
-To have been baptized in water through immersion: Matt.28:19.
-To support EPC's statement of faith and practice: Acts 15:28-29; 1 Tim.6:3-5.
-To be supportive of EPC's mission, vision, values, and strategies: Acts 15:1-31.
-To be respectful of pastoral authority, constructive feedback, and EPC's Church Constitution: Hebr.13:7; 1 Thess.5:12-13
-To serve with EPC's volunteers and employees in a manner which is consistent with the biblical precedent set in Philippians 2:1-4.
-To honour each other's unique calling and contribution to the ministry and mission of EPC: 1 Cor.12:4-32; 1:26-31
