  • What is an ugly mug?

  • An ugly mug is any client you want to warn other sex workers about.

    It may be clients who:

    • push sex workers to do things against their will
    • are verbally abusive or threatening
    • refuse to pay and/or steal from a sex worker
    • try to take the condom off or refuse to wear a condom
    • stalk a sex worker
    • assault—physically or sexually.

Sex workers have right to earn a living and be safe while working.

By making a report to SWOP NSW you can help us monitor and map violence against sex workers. We use this information to develop safety strategies and advocate for change. Parts of the report are provided to other sex workers to help make our community safer.

You don't have to answer all questions asked in this report but the more information you do provide the more likely it is that your report will assist other sex workers. If you wish to change an answer on a previous page you can use the BACK button to navigate to previous pages.
