  • Service Unit Trip/Activity Approval Form

    A completed Service Unit Multiple Troop Trip/Activity Approval Form is required for Service Unit Encampments/Twilight Camps/Camporees and Events (when offering activities which need council approval) This form is also needed for trips involving the use of rented/borrowed/chartered vehicles. SU Multiple Troop Trip/Activity Approval Forms must be submitted three (3) weeks prior to the trip. All trips must be approved by your Volunteer Support Specialist.  An email confirmation will be sent upon receipt of the form and an approval/denial email will be sent closer to the date of the trip.   • When leaving the regular Troop Meeting place the Co-Leders have to have permission slips on file and with them for each girl participating in the activity.

  • Girl Scouts of Eastern South Carolina requires an annual Health History Form to be completed and signed by one parent/guiardian for every Girl Scout and filed with the Troop Co-Leaders.

  • Please remember that all Activities and Trips are supposed to be Girl led. At any Grade Level Girls should have an active input into their Troop, including Trips and Activities. Girls from Daisies through Ambassadors will gain confidence and leadership skills when given the opportunity to lead their Activities, learn cooperatively as a group, and learn by doing instead of by observing. Failure to follow correct procedure and training requirements may result in the Co-Leaders being personally liable incase of accident or injury as the Girl Scout insurance will be null and void.
