  • Survival Bloc: Network Member Application

Welcome! You are one step closer to joining the movement for climate survival! Please complete this application form, and a network leader will get back to you within 7-14 days.
  • About Us

Survival Bloc is a BIPOC-led (black, brown, indigenous, and other people of color) network of leaders, movement organizations, and grassroots groups building power and community alternatives to survive the climate crisis. Together, we create the movement infrastructure to organize survival programs, conduct trainings + skills intensives, and share resources to divest from the fossil fuel industry and build disaster resilience. We endorse an intersectional organizing approach to building power through the climate crisis, leaning on a cross-sector movement body that infuses a range of organizing tactics and strategies - mutual aid and community care, food and land sovereignty, direct action, solidarity economics, disaster resilience, and healing justice. With these approaches combined, we are nurturing the seeds of a movement force that creates the conditions for us to heal, thrive, and fight in this era of climate survival.

  • Introducing our Spectrum of Engagement

We understand that many of us will be working on various organizing projects as we respond to stronger, more frequent disasters, social and economic crises in our communities, and more. Our collective capacities are always shifting. We’ve designed a color system for leaders or organizations to assess how they'd like to engage within the network based on these shifts. Our network leaders will make sure to ask where you are on the spectrum on a quarterly basis, and if there's any formal of informal ways that our network could be of support.
