- Homes serviced by City of Mount Pleasant Solid Waste Management may lease additional garbage bins for $12.00 each month per bin
- The can lease will become effective the date the can is delivered and the $12.00 fee will be added on the next utility bill.
- Leased bin are not transferable to another address without City approval.
- Regular bins and leased bins are City property and are subject to replacement, repair or altercation at the City’s discretion.
- Residents are responsible for care and custody of their City issued bin and leased bin(s
- Lost or stolen bins are the responsibility of the resident and if not found the resident will be responsible for the cost of replacement.
- To report a missing bins, contact the City of Mount Pleasant Utilities at (931) 379-7717.
- No credits or refunds will be issued for missing regular or leased bins.
- Applicants may discontinue their bin lease by contacting the City of Mount Pleasant Utilities and the $12.00 monthly fee will be removed only when the bin is returned to the City.
- Unregistered City bins at the curb will be removed by the City.
- Failure to pay monthly solid waste fees will result in service suspension and bin removal.
