Program Overview

Please read below to learn about our Religious Ed program for this upcoming school year.
Mass Attendance Requirements

In order for your family to be apart of our program, and for your children to be prepared for all Sacraments, we require families to attend Mass a minimum of 3 times per month, throughout the calendar year (not the program year). Attendance will be recorded by scanning the QR code located in the back of all 3 Beach Catholic parishes on the bulletin boards and TV screens.
Note: Communion and Confirmation are both two year programs. This means that families are required to maintain two years in a row of consistent Mass attendance and complete course content for sacramental preparation for each Sacrament. If the above requirements are not met, your child will not be prepared to receive the Sacrament.

Email Updates

Parents will receive weekly email updates consistently throughout the year with their Mass attendance count to ensure accuracy. Please be sure that the email provided in this form is valid and checked regularly. Please also check your spam folder to ensure that our messages are received.
Pre - K & K

Students of these grades will participate in our Online Program. Parents and students will have access to our lessons on our Faith Formation page. We suggest completing the lesson each Sunday. The lesson consists of videos, readings and activities for you and your children.
Elementary School (1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th levels)
1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th level - Hybrid Program

You and your child will attend 8 scheduled in-person sessions that will take place at the 9:45am Mass at St. Ignatius Church with a session afterwards for parents and children. You and your child will complete online lessons for the remaining weeks of the program year. *All families must attend mass 3x a month throughout the calendar year (not program year) and scan in with QR code.
1st, 2nd, 3rd, & 4th level - Online Program

You and your child will complete online lessons throughout the year. *All families must attend mass 3x a month throughout the calendar year (not program year) and scan in with QR code.
HYBRIDONLINE
1st and 2nd Level One-on-One Parent Meeting & Mandatory Sacrament Prep Nights

All parents of 1st and 2nd level students who are in their two year sacramental sequence (regardless of hybrid or online) will attend a 1 on 1 meeting with a priest or Beach Catholic team member. The goal of these meetings is to provide an opportunity for us to connect with your family and to grow together in faith. Students are expected to be present for the sacramental prep portion of these meetings. You will receive an email in the future with information about these meetings.
Middle School (5th, 6th, 7th, & 8th levels)
Middle School Hybrid Program

You and your child will attend 8 in-person sessions that will take place at the 5:00pm Mass at St. Ignatius with a session afterwards for parents and children. Middle School Online Program

HYBRIDONLINE
Any students in 6/7/8 can sign up for the in-person middle school class offered on various weeknights throughout the year. This additional class is optional and being offered for students and families who are authentically looking to dive deeper into their faith. This does not take the place of the above program, as this is an additional offering at no cost. Check yes below and you will receive more information over the summer.*
