The John Poss Memorial Fund honors the incredible legacy of John Poss, whose determination and advocacy helped revolutionize treatment for GIST patients. After being diagnosed with stage 4 GIST in 2000, John fought for access to a groundbreaking clinical trial, ultimately gaining 24 more years with his family and dedicating his life to patient support through The Life Raft Group. His impact continues to inspire and drive progress in GIST research and advocacy.
