  • 🌸🐰 Bama Lop’s N Lion’s Rabbitry — Purchase Policy 🐰🌸

Hey y’all! Before you scoop up one of our sweet bunnies, we kindly ask that you read through this whole policy and sign the agreement form so we know we’re all on the same page. We believe in keeping things clear, kind, and fair—for you, for us, and for the little ones hopping your way.

     📍 Where We’re Located

We’re nestled right here in Cullman County, Alabama. Pickups happen at safe, public spots nearby unless you’ve arranged transport.

     🏡 Closed Rabbitry

For the health and safety of our herd, we don’t allow visitors inside the rabbitry. But don’t worry—we’re happy to send photos or videos so you can see your baby before pickup.

     🐾 Reserving Your Bunny

We work on a first come, first served basis.

To hold a bunny, we require a 50% retainer up front. This retainer is non-refundable once you’ve agreed to move forward—it helps cover the time and care we’ve already poured into your rabbit.

     💰 Payment Options

We accept Venmo and Cash App.

Remaining balance may be paid at pickup if arranged ahead of time.

Final payment must be completed before your bunny heads home.

     📦 Pickup Details

No bunny leaves before 8 weeks of age.

We’ll reach out 1–2 weeks before your pickup window to schedule a meet-up. If we don’t hear back, we’ll assume you’ve changed your mind and the bunny will be relisted.

It’s your responsibility to stay in touch once a retainer’s been placed.

     🚚 Transport Info

Please message us before booking any transport—we don’t work with just anyone.

    We trust and recommend:

    • B&D’s Pet Transport

    • KD Farms

    • Hooves to Paws

    • Dunn’s Critter Transport

Other transporters may be approved if they’ve got a solid reputation with breeders.

Need your bunny held past the pickup date? A $10/week boarding fee will be added to your final total. Non-payment will result in cancellation with no refund of prior payments.

     ⚧ Gender Disclosure

We do our best to sex our rabbits correctly, but nature can be tricky.

If we notice a gender change before pickup, we’ll let you know and offer a refund or the option to continue.

You’re welcome to check gender and teeth at pickup. Once your bunny leaves our care, that’s considered acceptance of their condition.

     🩺 Health Guarantee

All rabbits are healthy to the best of our knowledge when they leave us.

Once they’re in your hands, we can’t be held responsible for any health issues, vet bills, or refunds.

If your bunny is transported, we can’t guarantee their health after they leave our care.

     🐇 Rehoming & Breeder Etiquette

If life throws you a curveball and you can’t keep your bunny, please reach out—we’ll always take our rabbits back before they end up in a rescue.

Breeders: We ask for first right of refusal before you pass one of our bunnies along.

If you rehome without telling us, or co-breed with someone we don’t approve of, you’ll be blacklisted from future purchases.

We’re not here to judge—we just want to know where our babies end up.

     💧 Water Training

Our bunnies are used to drinking from bowls. If you prefer bottles, you’ll need to show them how to use one.

🎁 What Comes With Your Bunny

Each rabbit leaves with a transition bag of feed and a pedigree (unless sold as a pet).

New to bunny life? Just holler—we’ll send you a care sheet to help you get started 💕

     👜 Carrier Reminder

Please bring a proper carrier to pickup—a small dog crate, tote, or sturdy box will do.   Make sure you have timothy hay or wheat straw in the carrier for comfort.

If you show up without one, we can’t be held responsible for any transport issues.

We are NOT responsible for ANY issues that MAY arise AFTER rabbits leave our possession on transport or otherwise.
