All-Ages Weekend Sign-Up Form for Ascend Volunteering and Upcoming Trips

Ascend's All-Ages Weekend, Aug 9-10

Join us for a beginner level backpacking overnight to Siphon and Russian Lakes nestled between the Trinity Alps and Russian Wilderness areas. This trip is designed for any experience level, whether you're an avid hiker who wants to connect with hiking comrades, or you're new to backpacking and want to learn from a guide. This trip is free and Ascend provides everything necessary if needed: food, gear, transportation from Weaverville, etc.
During this trip we'll spend a few hours volunteering on our public lands. Stewardship on these trips are catered for any age and experience level such as "brushing" (using clippers/loppers to cut back brush from the trail), trash clean up, etc. These trips are opportunities to explore and enjoy our amazing backyard, while giving back to the trails we love.
