We’re thrilled you’re considering applying for our Summer 2025 Emerging Tech Internships, running from June 2nd through August 15th.

This is a highly competitive opportunity with limited spots available. We’ve got 5-10 awesome startups working on projects with drones, AI, medical tech, and more—all ready to take on interns and dive into cool, hands-on projects. So, be sure to highlight your skills and experiences as you fill out your application!

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work directly with assigned startup teams to contribute to ongoing projects and tasks.
• Collaborate on problem-solving and idea generation with startup founders and other interns.
• Participate in weekly check-ins with mentors to review progress and receive valuable feedback.
• Provide bi-monthly progress updates to keep everyone in the loop
• Enhance your soft skills, including communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, to support your professional growth.
• Discover and utilize cutting edge tech tools, gaining hands-on experience with the technologies and practices used in the professional world.

What You’ll Gain:

• Mentorship: Weekly support and feedback to help you level up
• Collaboration: Work side-by-side with startup founders, dive into tech stack discussions, and explore different technologies
• Hands-On Experience: Get your hands dirty with live projects, applying your skills to real-world challenges

What We’re Looking For:

• Undergraduate (Juniors and Seniors), Graduate Students, and PhD candidates from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette's School of Computing and Informatics and College of Engineering
• Strong development and problem-solving skills (you love a good challenge!)
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively (because sometimes you need to make things happen solo, and other times it’s all about teamwork)

Interviews will be scheduled via email and will take place during the month of April. (We can’t interview everyone, but we still think you’re awesome!)
