Program Overview:  The OAAS-AAAS Annual Convention Young Professionals Exchange Program provides up to ten (10) Ontario young professionals involved in agricultural societies in Ontario the opportunity to attend the partner province’s annual convention. This program fosters learning, networking, and collaboration between agricultural societies in Ontario and Alberta.

Selected applicants will receive registration to the AAAS convention and accommodations for 3 nights to be shared with another delegate.

Meals for the convention are provided Friday,(lunch and dinner), Saturday(breakfast, lunch and supper) and Sunday breakfast.

Selected applicants are responsible for the cost of all transportation and any additional meals and expenses.

The AAAS Convention dates for 2026 are February 6-8.

Eligibility:

•        Must be a member in good standing of an OAAS Agricultural Society that is in
good standing and supported by your Agricultural Society

•        Must be an active member of an agricultural society in Ontario

•        Must be between the ages of 18 and 40

•        Must be available to attend the entire AAAS convention

•        Must commit to attend the OAAS convention the same year

•        Applicants can participate a maximum of 2 years
