  • Note: If there are not any KMI's in the match or no official has a KMI then answer "No"

    KMI Definition: "Any decision that impacts or potentially impacts the outcome of the match".

  •          GDFRA Referees Key Match Incident List                    
     

    • A goal awarded or disallowed incorrectly.
    • A penalty kick correctly or incorrectly awarded, or not awarded (R or AR).
    • Unfair denial of a goal/ Denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity (DOGSO) dealt with correctly or incorrectly.
    • Clear and obvious serious fo ul play/violent conduct.
    • An offside judgement which would have created/denied a clear goal scoring opportunity (AR).
    • An incorrect offside judgement at any stage that lacks the credibility expected at this level (AR).
    • Correct or incorrect judgement of the ball over the boundary line which has a critical impact on the match, including the decision on a goal (AR). 
    • Effective or poor assistance to the referee in respect of a key match incident where it would be expected that the assistant would ordinarily advise his/her colleague (AR, 4th Official).
    • Mistaken identity when a wrong player is cautioned or dismissed.
    • Not sending off a player after they have received a second yellow card.
    • Incorrect application of the Laws of the Game, which influence the outcome of the game.
    • Simulation by an attacker is correctly recognised and punished in the penalty area.
    • Any other incident that has a significant effect on the match that requires further examination on the part of the referee coach, which influences the outcome of the game.

    KMI forms will be sent to – tscchair@gdfra.org.au at the GDFRA Referees Technical Department.  KMI's should be submitted no later than Monday night following the match.
