Creekside Christian Church is not responsible for injuries that occur before, during, or after these sporting events. We encourage all athletes and attendees wear the proper sporting equipment to ensure safety while playing. This includes close toed tennis shoes.

    Introduction Creekside Christian Sports Ministry seeks to foster a welcoming, faith-filled environment that supports spiritual growth, sportsmanship, and community. This Code of Conduct sets the expectations for all athletes, coaches, volunteers, and spectators, ensuring that each event reflects our Christian values and remains fair and enjoyable for everyone.

    Code of Conduct Expectations
     
    1. Respect for All:

    • Treat all players, coaches, officials, and spectators with respect.
    • Avoid foul language, insults, or any form of bullying.
    • Celebrate the efforts of all participants.
    • Care for Creekside facilities and equipment.
       

    2.  Integrity in Competition:

    • Compete honestly and fairly.
    • Refrain from cheating or bending the rules.
    • Respect Ministry Leaders / Officials decisions without arguing.

     
    3. Teamwork and Collaboration:

    • Prioritize teamwork and build each other up.
    • Encourage teammates and acknowledge different strengths.
    • Cooperate with opponents to ensure a safe and fair environment.

     
    4. Positive Attitude:

    • Maintain positivity, even in competitive or challenging moments.
    • Handle wins and losses with grace and humility.

     
    5. Safety and Fair Play:

    • Prioritize safety; avoid aggressive or dangerous actions.
    • Follow all game rules and report any unsafe conditions immediately.


    Disciplinary Actions
     
    1. First Violation: Verbal warning and a discussion with ministry leaders.

    2. Second Violation: Removal from the current game or event; the participant must meet with ministry leaders before returning.

    3. Repeated Violations: Possible suspension from multiple games or the season. Further meetings with ministry leaders and church elders may be required.

    4. Severe Misconduct: Immediate suspension from all ministry activities. Additional disciplinary actions within the church community may follow.

    Commitment: By signing below, you agree to uphold this Code of Conduct and to contribute positively to our sports ministry. Let us remember our goal is to honor God in all we do, including our behavior on and off the field.
