If you have applied for Financial Aid on or before January 1st, 2025, you must reapply to be considered for aid in the 2025-2026 Season. In order to receive Financial Aid by the beginning of our Fall semester (September 2nd), applications must be submitted no later than July 31st, 2025.

Parents/guardians are required to provide the most recent tax return or otherwise sufficient information to verify financial situation. Optionally, families may submit a letter of Hardship to describe any extenuating circimstances that may provide eligibility for further financial aid supplement. Students who are 8 years old and up are highly encouraged to submit a 250-word essay explaining the importance of music lessons, reflecting on the impact of past instruction, and/or outlining their expectations for the future.

If your application is accepted, understand that the financial assistance offered to you is conditional and that to continue receving the same you must: a. Meet attendance requirements. b. Be making developmentally appropriate progress in your program of study, as determined by the music education director. c. Show growth in social-emotional skills. d. Take full advantage of programs offered through YMA.
