Who is this course for?
Any over 12s who wish to gain a basic self defence knowledge.
This course will be taught by Alex Thomas Fitness and Martial Arts Training and will cover the below:
- Warm up and intro to the movements required.
- How to use your voice and posture to give warnings.
- Hitting pads with a palm strike
- Then using knees
A look at defence against:- strikes, grabs from the front, wrist grabs, grabs from behind, bear hugs & head locks etc
Followed by if you fall on the ground, How to get up without being a target, how to take down a standing attacker & how to escape being pinned on your back.
