The Steampunk NZ Festival Street Parade for 2025 is lining up to be a spectacular event with new Parade floats and vehicles. We invite you to join us.

Please note due to the reconstruction of the Oamaru Farmers Market carpark the Parade start point has moved to Tyne Street.

An area will be cordoned off for Parade entrants from Wansbeck Street end.

Space will be restricted.

Parade entrants will need to be prepared for this.

Instructions and maps will be emailed out ahead of time.

Parade entrants will be given a Parade sequence number and will be positioned in the Parade order carefully to create variety for the spectators, make sure musical or noise producing floats are far enough apart and keep participants safe.

If you are in control of a Parade float or leading a walking group please keep a distance of at least three car lengths between the float or group ahead of you.
