    PRELIMINARY Event Information 

    (Lifting times and Flights are still subject to change based on lifter withdrawals and weight class changes. The final schedule will be sent to all athletes no later than Monday, Oct. 20.)

    Roster: A current athlete roster, to be updated weekly, is available for viewing at 👽👹 USAPL Legend of the Kilomonster 👹👽. Click on your name to see your division and weight class. Please note that Sessions will NOT change. However, lifting flights may change based on withdrawals, weight class changes, age group changes, and other modifications. 

    Make a Change: Click here to add a missing USAPL number, change your weight class, withdraw, or make other changes to your registration. While refunds cannot be provided for withdrawals, having notice allows us to modify the schedule and flights for referees, spotters/loaders, and your fellow lifters.

    Athlete Bio: Please help our livestream announcer keep the feed engaging for your family, friends, and teammates watching from afar! This bio takes 2-3 minutes to complete and can be as detailed or as minimal as you’d like and really makes a difference. Thank you!

    **HELPERS NEEDED!** We will need helpers for set-up/teardown, spotters/loaders, referees, and various other tasks, like merch table, scorekeeping, etc. The sign-up form and the various stipends will be released and sent to all athletes in September. Thank you in advance for helping us spread the word when that comes through.

     

    Schedule 

    Early Check-Ins (Optional) – Friday, Nov. 7

    (Recommended but not Required) Early Check-In on Friday, Nov. 7, from 7-8pm: You are welcome to arrive any time within that window. Please note you cannot officially weigh in until your scheduled time on Saturday or Sunday, but you can (1) check your bodyweight on our certified scales, (2) have your equipment checked, and (3) find and enter your rack heights if you’d like to save time on competition day.

    Please have the following ready at check-in, whether you choose to do it on Saturday or Sunday:

    • Photo ID (or birth certificate for younger athletes) & USAPL Membership Card
    • Opening Squat, Bench, and Deadlift attempts, in kilograms
    • Everything you will wear on the platform (singlet, t-shirt, DL socks, belt, shoes, knees sleeves, wrist wraps, etc.)

    Saturday, Nov. 8

    Session 1 – All Youth, Teen, Junior, and Master Women

    Weigh in at 6am. Lift at 8am. We recommend arriving by 5:30am for rack heights and check-in if you did not come on Friday for early check-in. Lifting and awards are expected to be completed, with athletes free to leave the venue, no later than 1:00pm. 

    Session 2 – Open Women (24-39 years old) & Men over 50 (MIIA & Older)

    Weigh in at 1:00pm. Lift at 3:00pm. We recommend arriving by 12:30pm for rack heights and check-in if you did not come on Friday for early check-in. Lifting and awards are expected to be completed, with athletes free to leave the venue, no later than 8:00pm. 

     

    Sunday, Nov. 9

    Session 1 – Men 40-49 Years Old (MIA & MIB) & Youth, Teen, Junior Men

    Weigh in at 6am. Lift at 8am. We recommend arriving by 5:30am for rack heights and check-in if you did not come on Friday for early check-in. Lifting and awards are expected to be completed, with athletes free to leave the venue, no later than 1:00pm. 

    Session 2 – Open Men (24-39 years old)

    Weigh in at 12:00pm. Lift at 2:00pm. We recommend arriving by 11:30pm for rack heights and check-in if you did not come on Friday for early check-in. Lifting and awards are expected to be completed, with athletes free to leave the venue, no later than 7:00pm.
