Opportunities:

Virtual Exhibitions: Allows artists who are unable to come to FEED to engage with our community and showcase their work remotely, utilizing FEED’s platforms and digital tools.

Onsite Exhibitions: Offer artists the opportunity to participate in the installation of their work (if time and resources allow) and engage with our community through the presentation of their work.

Two-week Onsite Residencies: The Open FEED 2025 Onsite Residency is an opportunity for media artists to prototype and finish artworks using FEED’s unique resources. Artists are invited to expand their practice in large-scale dedicated studio and exhibition spaces located in a historic 200-year-old building, and explore new skills and techniques with access to FEED’s one-of -a-kind collection of digital and analogue tools and technologies. Additionally, Onsite Residents have the chance to interact with the public, participate in community events, connect with other artists and cultural organizations, and be paired with a local artist to assist them with their work. We encourage submissions from artists working in all disciplines and at all stages of their careers. We are committed to supporting artistic expression and fostering a vibrant and inclusive creative community.

Onsite Residency Public Program (max. 250 words)
Availability for an Onsite Residency: Please provide no less than two x's 2-week date ranges between June 9-August 8, 2025. Residency Description (max. 250 words).
Please summarize what type of program you are interested to provide in 1-2 sentences and provide the following details: program format (talk, workshop, performance); when in your residency you would like to offer the program (e.g. beginning, middle, end); duration of program (e.g. 60 minutes, 90 minutes); technical needs/logistics (i.e. tables/seating, specific equipment, etc.).

Include how this time would be most beneficial to you and your work/process and the different needs you anticipate having: space to set-up/prototype, equipment, technical support, ability to prototype with the public, etc.).
Only for those applying for Onsite Residency: Onsite Residents artists will be required to participate in a public program during their residency or exhibition period (depending on availability). Public programs can take the form of an artist talk, demonstration, hands-on workshop, an interactive class, etc. Workshop or class topics and logistics will be discussed and subject to approval by FEED’s Artistic Director.
