SPONSORED BY J.L. TURNER LEGAL ASSOCIATION FOUNDATION
THE INAUGURAL SCHOLARSHIP IS BEING OFFERED TO SIX DFW METROPLEX LAW STUDENTS SITTING FOR THE TEXAS BAR EXAM IN JULY 2025. EACH WINNER WILL BE AWARDED $2,000.00.

APPLICATION TIMELINE
- Applications open: April 7, 2025
- Application deadline: 5:00 p.m., May 7, 2025
- Winners announced: May 14, 2025
QUALIFICATIONS/ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES
- Third year minority law student attending law school in the DFW Metroplex: SMU Dedman School of Law, Texas A&M University School of Law, UNT Dallas School of Law.
- Sitting for Texas Bar Exam in July 2025.
- Financial Need.
APPLICANTS MUST PROVIDE THE FOLLOWING
- Copy of law school transcript with grades confirming enrollment.
- Current resume that includes honors, activiites, and publications.
- Texas Board of Law Examiners documentation of registration for the Texas State Bar Exam in July 2025.
