NOTE: Patterson's Pet Sitting requires proof of current vaccinations. Bordetella, DHLPP every 12 months. and Rabies per state law. All vaccinations must be given at least 10-14 days prior to your pets stay with us. In addition, we require a 14 day waiting period before entrance to our facility if your pet has visited a dog park, been exposed to/treated for an infectious disease, boarded at any other facility, or is being treated for an infectious disease.

*Please note, if fleas are found on any boarding dog(s) they will be isolated, and owners will be called. The dog(s) will not be able to come back until all fleas are gone.

This is a Contract between Patterson's Pet Sitting (herein called Kennel), and the pet owner whose signature appears below (herein called Owner) and the pet.

• Owner attests that pet is up to date on Rabies, Bordetella, DHLPP vaccinations unless special circumstances have been put in place that Kennel and Owner have agreed upon in writing. Proof can be in the form of a paper copy or emailed to pattersonspetsitting@gmail.com. Vaccinations must be administered a minimum of ten days prior to pets stay to ensure the vaccine is active in their system. These documents are to be provided when booking.
• To the best of Owner's knowledge, pet has not been exposed to Rabies, Parvo, or any other contagious viruses within a 30-day period of time prior to boarding.

• Notification is required when Owner is within 30 minutes of dropping off, or picking up pet(s). This gives Kennel time to prepare pets to allow for a smooth drop off/pick up when Owner arrives.

• Arrivals or pick-ups more than 30 minutes later than agreed upon or scheduled time will be subject to an additional $25 charge.

• Pets are not required to be spayed/neutered to stay. Kennel is unable to accommodate females in heat. If Owner's female comes into heat during their stay, an additional $50/week will be added to the cost of their stay.

• If the pet becomes ill or if the state of the pet's health otherwise requires professional attention, the Kennel will immediately contact Owner. If unable to reach Owner or the provided emergency contact, the Kennel, at its sole discretion, may engage the services of a veterinarian. This may include the Veterinarian administering medication or giving other requisite attention to the pet, and the expenses thereof will be paid by Owner.

• Kennel will do everything in their power to prevent pet from injury or illness while under Kennel's care.

• Owner acknowledges the risk of pet boarding. Dogs playing alone or together can sometimes result in injury or transmission of illnesses such as Kennel Cough.

• The Kennel carefully supervises all multi dog play time, but Kennel will not be held responsible for any injuries incurred as a result of play time. Owner's are welcome to opt out of multi dog play time altogether. Be aware that even in play, injuries are always a possibility. Therefore, owners are solely responsible for all injuries incurred if Owner chooses to let pet(s) participate in multi dog playtime. This clause also applies to dogs (from the same family) that Owners request to board in the same kennel. Please note that dogs who may do well together in Owner's home, could potentially have a different reaction to each other when in a new environment. Any injuries that occur, per the Owner's request to have dogs kenneled together, are the Owner's responsibility. By initialing either clause, Owner acknowledges that they have been given the appropriate information to make.

• The only thing Owner is required to provide is your pet's food- although Kennel encourages Owner to bring things that will help pets feel more at home such as bedding, toys, treats, etc. Please note that Kennel is not responsible for any damage done to your pets' personal items.

• Owner's pets are closely monitored throughout their stay here, but in the event that a pet becomes ill, or is injured, Kennel, will not be held responsible. The Owner is responsible for any liability or expenses related to illness/injury.

• The Owner is responsible for any damages their pet makes to Kennel Property. Owner agrees to pay the boarding rate in effect upon picking up pet from Kennel. Owner further agrees that said pet is not to leave the Kennel until payment has been made in full.

• There will be a 25% deposit required for all bookings during holiday weeks or busy weeks (spring break, etc Deposits will be credited to your account if cancelled within 14 days of the arrival date and we are able to fill that space. Deposits will not be refundable if cancelled within 7 days of the arrival date, or within 14 days if we are not able to fill the space booked. There are no refunds for early pick up. The total amount due will correspond with the dates you are booked for.

• In the event that any check provided by Owner is returned by the bank due to insufficient funds ('bounced check'), Owner shall be liable for an additional fee of $25.00 per returned check, and must immediately provide an alternative payment method upon notification of the returned check.

• Kennel will provide updates via text. These are just for the Owner's enjoyment, please do not feel that a response is required- The Kennel never wants to intrude on Owner's vacation time. Of course, Owners are more than welcome to reply, or call/text at any time to check in. If the Kennel is unavailable at the time of Owner's call/text, the Kennel will reply as promptly as possible.

• By signing this Contract and leaving Owner's pet with the Kennel, Owner certifies to the accuracy of all information given regarding said pet.

This Contract contains the agreements between all parties. All terms and conditions of the Contract shall be binding to Kennel and Owner. This Contract shall be in force for this initial boarding and all future boarding with Kennel.
