We want passionate commitment.
We want someone that understands being committed to the tasks they are instructed to undertake and the importance of attending shifts on the rota.
Pride in your work
We aim for higher standards here, we want someone that takes pride in what they do.
A personable attitude
This is one of the most important factors we look for. It is absolutely essential that our staff are able to communicate with our customers on all levels. We expect everything from 'Banter' to polite enquires about how a customers day is, and show genuine interest while doing it. We will not employ anyone not capable of this.
A desire to support your colleagues
We don't use the word team work here as it implies people only work under instruction. Our staff do tasks to help each other because they want to, we are closer to a family here. We expect anyone coming on board with us to feel the same.
Meet physical demands
Front of house/bar work can be physically demanding and can get very busy. As an absolute minimum you will be required to be able to lift, at the most, a 20kg box of cider and a 12kg empty keg. During Sunday service you will be getting those steps in carrying food to tables too so we will need someone capable to fulfil this requirment.
