Vendor Application Acceptance Policy: Confirmation for the Indian Land Christmas Parade is based on the date and time of application submissions AND payment. Additionally, for food vendors, we will take your menu into account when we receive your completed application as our goal is to bring local food trucks/food vendors to the forefront to provide a unique experience for attendees by ensuring variety. While we are unable to guarantee there will not be competing vendors, we will take this into consideration as we receive vendor applications. The ILCPO reserves the right to turn down applications (and return fees) based on the number of applications received and the overall variety of applications. Food trucks/vendors are not allowed to sell ANY alcoholic beverages. All vendors are responsible for securing applicable business licenses/permits.
● Vendors should follow Fire and Safety Regulations and have the appropriate fire extinguishers and safety equipment.
● Vendors are responsible for collecting and reporting any SC sales tax
● Vendors are responsible for compliance with SC Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC) regulations regarding outdoor/special events (www.scdhec.administration/CR- 005836.pdf )
● If the state or local agencies close your booth, your fee will NOT be refunded.
Application and fee must be received by no later than December 1, to include menu for food trucks and food vendors. All fees and deposits are non refundable after December 1.
In submitting this application, the vendor does hereby agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the Indian Land Christmas Parade Organization (ILCPO), Lancaster County School District (LCSD), harmless against any suit, claim, damage, and expense, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, against ILCPO, and LCSD, their agents, offers, directors, employees, volunteers, and member, caused by, incident to, resulting from, arising out of, or occurring in connection with the event or the use of the facility as well as any other events or activities leading up to the Indian Land Christmas Parade.
