The application deadline is December 3. All participants and vehicles must arrive at the designated formation area by 3:00 pm. Upon arrival on parade day, participants must check in on-site to receive their assigned placement. Each entry will be given a specific spot in the parade, and this placement must remain unchanged. Alcohol is strictly prohibited in the parade, and anyone found consuming alcohol will be removed from participation. Drivers of parade vehicles must be licensed to operate that type of vehicle and drive in a safe and orderly manner. A safe distance must always be maintained between entries. This is a family-friendly event, and any individuals not following the rules will be escorted out of the parade.
Entries featuring Santa or Mrs. Claus are not allowed.
Candy distributed along the parade route must be individually wrapped. Children participating in the parade (whether walking or riding) must be accompanied by an adult. Any mounted riders must maintain control of their animals at all times and ensure proper waste disposal. Firearms are not permitted. The Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office will lead the parade and have full jurisdiction over all participants and the assembled crowd.
Waiver of Liability: By entering the parade, participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless the ILCPO, organizers, and volunteers from any claims, including but not limited to costs, liabilities, judgments, expenses, damages, or attorney’s fees arising from any accident related to the parade. I have read and agree to comply with the rules established by the ILCPO and will inform all participants in my entry of these rules and the waiver. The ILCPO reserves the right to reject any entry.
