EXPOUND is a six-week residency funded by a $30,000 grant. There is one EXPOUND opportunity available in 2025. This opportunity is available to mid-career or established artists with at least 15 years professional experience who has dancing, movement or body-based studio practice.

This residency is based at the LOFT studio in the Lion Arts Factory, top floor 68 – 70 North Terrace, Adelaide.

This paid opportunity is adaptable within the available dates 7 July – 3 October 2025.

This opportunity is intended to support a mid-career or established artist/collective. The Residency supports all stages of a creative project whether it be research, development, remounting, or the creation of a new work.

Our intention is that the Residency addresses the shortage of opportunities for artists that specifically require extended periods of time to develop the depth and rigour of their practice.
