    The City of Sequim invites local non-profit organizations to apply for table space at Water Reuse Demonstration Park as part of the 2025 Independence Day Celebration.

    Organizations will occupy a non-profit station for a two-hour period and provide a free family-friendly activity.

  • Friday, July 4, 2025, 3:00 PM - 6:00 PM

    Water Reuse Demonstration Park, 500 North Blake Avenue, Sequim, WA

    Outdoor space will be located near the James Center Bandshell at Water Reuse Demonstration Park. Each accepted organization will have a two-hour period of operation (assigned at random).

    No fee is required, but a free family-friendly activity must be provided and facilitated by each non-profit organization.

  • Application Process

  • Applications submitted by May 30, 2025 will be reviewed by the Parks & Events Team for acceptance by the City. The City may accept or reject any applicant, at their discretion.

    Notification of acceptance of your application will be sent in early June. You will receive additional information, parking pass, booth location, and time slot assignment in mid-June.

    IMPORTANT: City acceptance of your application establishes certain mutual rights and responsibilities. By completing this application, you are certifying under penalty of perjury, under the laws of the State of Washington, that the information you provided is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge and belief, and that you will comply with all non-profit organization guidelines.

  • Set-Up and Tear-Down

  • Organizers will be assigned a two-hour shift. Organizers should be ready to begin their activities at their assigned time and man their station during their entire shift.

    Organizers are responsible for their own set-up and tear-down. The site manager will help you find your assigned area but will not otherwise assist you.

    Organizers are responsible for their own displays and signage, and any tables and chairs needed.

    Organizers are required to keep their booth / table area clean and uncluttered during their assigned shift.

    - Provide due consideration for the safety of customers and fellow organizers.

    - Use respectful and non-discriminatory language and behavior at all times while on-site.

  • Tips & Donations

  • Non-profit organizations wishing to participate as a free activity booth are not allowed to sell items, solicit tips, or directly accept donations at the festival. However, they may provide informational materials about their organization to participants upon request.

  • Nonprofit Status

  • Organizers must be a registered nonprofit with the Washington Secretary of State with their primary business situated in Clallam County, Washington.

  • Legal Notices

  • If the City accepts the organizer's application, the Organizer acknowledges and agrees as follows:

    • The Sequim Independence Day Celebration is subject to cancellation due to severe, unforeseen, or unavoidable circumstances beyond the City's control.
    • Any disputes that arise between the City and the Organizer must be adjudicated in the County of Clallam, State of Washington.
    • Certain conditions of this application / acceptance may survive and continue to be enforceable after 2025 Independence Day ends, including the liability and indemnification provisions.
    • The Organizer and the City will defend, indemnify, and hold each other harmless from and against any and all claims, suits, actions, inactions, or liabilities which arise out of this application / acceptance to the extent allowed by law.
    • The City is subject to public disclosure laws.
