    Meet Our Distinguished Speakers
    Our webinar series features renowned professionals with extensive experience in fundraising, donor relations, and philanthropy:

    Dr. Russell James from Texas Tech University is a distinguished professor in the Department of Personal Financial Planning where he directs graduate programs in Charitable Financial Planning. With over 25 years of experience in planned giving, Dr. James combines academic research with practical applications, and his work has been cited in prestigious publications including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, and The Chronicle of Philanthropy. He is the author of several books including "The Socratic Fundraiser" and "The Storytelling Fundraiser."

    Angela Joens brings her extensive experience as a fundraising professional to The Donor Relations Group. Her background includes leadership roles at UC Davis, Mercy Medical Center Foundation, and Iowa State University Foundation. Angela specializes in stewardship, development operations, and leadership training, and regularly speaks nationally on these topics.

    Liz Menne has built her career around supporter experience and customer loyalty. As a project specialist with The Donor Relations Group and ODDER Manager at EverTrue/Thankview, she focuses on creating efficiencies and improving donor retention through effective systems and processes.

    Colton Withers serves as Director of Operations at The Donor Relations Group. His background in higher education and performing arts fundraising includes leadership roles at Purdue University. Colton holds a master's degree from the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy and specializes in helping organizations build exceptional donor communications.
