Playday Series Rules
1) For points to be kept for series awards, the $50 membership fee must be paid (pay at Pay Window, morning of at playday, not with Jotform registration)
2) We will accept Series Memberships until the day of August 2nd, 2026, however a late fee of $20 will apply to the original $50 membership for a total of $70 for the membership if registered after June 15th, 2026 (no late fees applied to memberships turned in BEFORE June 15, 2026)
3) Memberships for series points will be considered as ($50 each team):
Team 1: Person 1 and Horse A $50
Team 2: Person 1 and Horse B $50
4) Multiple Memberships for the same rider may be bought as shown above, as series points will be kept for the TEAM not the single horse/rider. (Rider cannot gain double points on two horses nor can horses gain double points under two riders for the DIVISION AGE series overall points)
5) A horse can only be registered with ONE RIDER in the Junior, Teen, or Open (example-Fluffy the bay horse CANNOT BE reigstered for the series with Brittney in the Junior age division and Johnny in the teen age division)-The only exception to this rule is signing up a horse for both Leadline and another age division (Junior, Teen, or Open) (Example Fluffy the bay horse CAN BE registered with Adam in the Leadline division as well as Nicki in the Open division)
6) Leadline Series Memberships may be bought for kids in participating in leadline classes at the age of 8 and under (as of January 1st, 2026). They will get awarded series prizes up to 5th place in their age divisions for overall series points
7) Competitors can only win up to 2 Fast Time Awards for the Series Awards to share the love
8) Horse/rider teams place individually in their age division meaning as an example:
Brittney and Fluffy the bay horse place 5th in their age division for the series
Brittney and Queen the palomino horse place 3rd in their age division for the series
(However for the individual playdays, Brittney's horses both compete but for that playday's individual awards, we only add the highest placing horse for points just for that individual playday)
9) Competitors MUST compete in their age group for their age as of January 1st, 2026
10) Prizes for Series will be handed out on September 26 at 10:00 AM at the Velva Saddle Club Rodeo Grounds, and prizes will be forfeited if not picked up by competitor themselves or other person who is APPROVED by the arena official BEFORE the award ceremony
