Youth Programs Instructor
Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and responsible Youth Rock Climbing Program instructor. The instructor will teach climbing to participants ages 3 - 15, and foster an environment that is safe, engaging, and inclusive. Our goal is to promote skill development, confidence, teamwork, and a love for climbing.
Responsibilities
- Instruct and supervise children age 3-15 on bouldering and top roping
- Teach climbing techniques, safety, rules and instill proper etiquette
- Play climbing games, keep kids engaged, enforce safety at all time
- Teach belaying and knot tying
- Communicate effectively with parents and staff on child's progress, successes, and any concerns
- Monitor and evaluate climbers progress and discuss with staff to decide on the best fit program to recommend next
- Assist with setup, clean up, and organization of climbing areas as needed
Qualifications
- Strong climbing skills and knowledge of climbing safety and equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Availability to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends
- Ability to pass a background check
- Preferred:
- Experience working with kids
- Experience coaching climbing or another sport
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Safesport Certification
Compensation
- Pay range $16-$20/hr, depending on experience and qualifications

Desk Staff
Job Description
Front Desk Staff are the first point of contact for our members and guests. They provide exceptional customer service, ensure the facility is clean and safe, and help create a welcoming, inclusive environment. This role blends hospitality, safety awareness, and climbing community knowledge to give every member and guest a great experience.
Qualifications
- Previous customer service or sales experience is a plus
- A reasonable level of previous rock climbing experience and expertise is recommended to effectively assist members and provide accurate information about climbing activities, safety procedures, and gear.
Compensation
- Pay range $15-$18/hr, depending on experience and qualifications
