  • Accepting Visit Occoquan Gift Cards is easy! To qualify to accept the cards you must:

    • Be a Town of Occoquan business with a valid business license
    • Be in good standing with the Town of Occoquan
    • Have the ability to take the gift cards in person (they cannot be used online)

    Once registered, you will receive:

    • Digital instruction sheet, including how to accept & get reimbursed for the gift cards
    • Promotional digital graphics to use in your marketing emails and social media
    • "Accepted here" Window cling decal
    • "Accepted here" digital logo for your website

    There is no deadline to enter. This is a rolling opt-in process. You may opt-out at any time by emailing us.

  • Visit Occoquan Gift Card ("Card") Program Rules & Policies:

    1. Card Use and Acceptance:

    • This Card is redeemable for goods or services at Town of Occoquan, Virginia businesses and is not redeemable for cash.
    • The Card cannot have additional funds added to it.

    2. Limitations:

    • The Card cannot be used for illegal transactions or for purchases where recurring payments may occur (e.g., subscriptions).
    • The Card is valid only in Occoquan, Virginia, United States.
    • Visit Occoquan, Inc. is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged cards and will not reimburse customers for such.
    • An expiration date is printed on the back of each card. Expired cards should not be accepted and will only be reimbursed by Visit Occoquan up to 90 days after the printed expiration date.

    3. Liability:

    • Visit Occoquan, Inc. is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of any goods or services purchased with the Card.
    • Visit Occoquan, Inc., its board of directors, and staff, are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from:
      • Unauthorized access to, or alteration, theft, or destruction of the Card.
      • Circumstances beyond our control.
      • Suspension or prohibition of Card use due to reported loss or theft, or suspected fraudulent activity.

    5. Reimbursement

    • Only businesses who have opted in will be eligible for reimbursement.
    • Of those businesses who opt in to the program, only businesses in good standing with the Town of Occoquan may be reimbursed for used Cards, even if they have previously opted into the program while in good standing.
    • Businesses will be reimbursed for Cards up to 90 days after the printed expiration date on the back of the Card.
    • Reimbursement checks will be processed on the 1st of each month.
    • Only businesses in good standing with the Town of Occoquan may be reimbursed for used Cards, even if they have previously opted into the program while in good standing.
    • Fraudulent or photocopied cards will not be accepted for reimbursement.
    • Businesses who have opted into the program and are in good standing with the Town of Occoquan will be reimbursed for 100% of the Card value.
    • Businesses in bad standing that collect the Cards must wait until they are back in good standing with the Town of Occoquan, before reimbursement will be issued.

    6. Management
