    Please complete a separate proposal form for each workshop.
  • Carolina Fiberfest is now accepting workshop proposals for 2026.

    If you would like your workshop to be considered for this upcoming event, please submit a proposal containing the information listed below no later than May 31, 2025.

    Workshops will be held at Carolina FiberFest Thursday March 12 - Saturday March 14, 2026.

    New this coming year:  The entire festival (including workshops) will be in the Jim Graham Building at the NC State Fairgrounds.  

     

    1.   Please use this form for all workshop submissions. 

    2.  Complete a separate form for each workshop. If you are submitting more than one workshop, you only need to fill out address, phone number, instructor bio info, etc. on the first submission.

    3.   Include photo(s) representing the workshop.  Please name them with the following format:  Instructor's last name-Title of Workshop 
    ie.  Smith-Beginning Knitting.jpg.

    4.   Also include an instructor biography and picture (of instructor).  Please name the bio photo with your name  ie. JaneSmith.jpg.  (Only needed on the first submission)

    5.   Fill out instructor’s contact information. (Only needed on the first submission)

    6.   Fill out workshop information.

    7.  Our standard rates for instructors are as follows:
    1 hour $ 75.00
    2 hour $150.00
    3 hour $225.00
    4 hour $300.00
    6 hour $450.00


    Should no more than 3 people sign up for any class, the Instructor is willing to teach it in exchange for $10/hr. per student, plus material fees.

    Our policy is to NOT cancel workshops that have registrations.

    8.   Please send a list of (or link to) other workshops that you teach. We may discover a workshop that you didn’t submit that fills a particular niche. You can also email this to workshops@carolinafiberfest.org
