    Honouring the late Don Le Prou, a founder of the NZPF and former principal of Frankton School in Hamilton, this is a study grant to assist NZPF members from U1-3 schools to undertake professional development. Applications close 1 March.
  • DON LE PROU GRANT POLICY

    1. The grant will be known as the NZPF Don Le Prou Grant.
    2. The grant is to assist NZPF members from U1-3 schools to undertake professional development.
    3. Total per grant $1,000 (plus GST if applicable)
    4. All other expenses are the responsibility of the recipient of these grants.
    5. The Grant should be taken within twelve months of being granted.
    6. Applications for the grant must be made in writing on the form provided, accompanied by an outline of the proposal and must be received by 1 March.
    7. All applications will be considered by a sub committee of the Executive of NZPF.
    8. The sub‐committee may, at its discretion, require applicants to provide additional
      information.
    9. Successful applicants will be notified within a month of the closing date.
    10. Within three months of the completion of the project the successful applicant will be expected to provide a brief report to the National office.
    11. Applicants must clearly understand that there is no extension possible to the funding arrangements or to any time limits specified.
    12. Funding will be paid to the recipient’s school.
    13. Payments will be forwarded on receipt of evidence of cost e.g. Registration form.

    Criteria for Selection
    ● U1-2 principals will be given priority over U3 principals
    ● First time recipients will be given priority
    ● Quality of application relevant to principalship
    ● Applicant must be a current financial member of NZPF
