    2025 NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference
  • December 8-9, 2025 - Nashville, Tennessee (Pre-Conference Workshops December 7)

    To complete this proposal, you will need:

    • Full name, email address, job title, affiliation, city, state, and country of each presenter to be submitted
    • A headshot photo file of each presenter to be submitted
    • A biography of 150 words or fewer for each presenter to be submitted
    • Title of 100 characters or less for proposed session
    • Description of 300 words or less for proposed session

    Proposal Criteria

    The 2025 NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Program Committee is seeking timely, innovative, creative, and thought-provoking presentations supporting the conference presentation theme.

    “Securing the Future: Striking the Right Chords in K12 Cybersecurity Education.”

    We encourage proposals from various organizations and individuals with different perspectives, including K12 educators, students, school counselors, higher education faculty, employers, practitioners, non-profits, curriculum providers, research centers, and training and certification providers.

    Proposals should align with one of the four conference tracks. Selection will prioritize proposals that align with career awareness, discovery, and exploration of the NICE Workforce Framework for Cybersecurity (NICE Framework).

    Track 1: Increasing Cybersecurity Career Awareness
    Track 2: Multidisciplinary & Innovative Approaches to Cybersecurity Education
    Track 3: Promoting Cybersecurity Career Pathways
    Track 4: Promoting Cyber Awareness

    Proposals will be evaluated and selected based on the quality of the written proposal, the diversity of topics and presenters, the timeliness of the focus area, and their alignment with the conference theme and tracks.

    SUBMISSION DEADLINE: FRIDAY, JUNE 27, 2025, AT 11:59 PM PST.

    DISCLAIMERS:
    All presenters are responsible for their own discounted registration fee of $375. All accepted presenters must have paid registration for the conference by November 15, 2025. All presenters must read thoroughly all instruction packets distributed by the Conference Coordinator. All presenters must submit any required information, upload photos and bios to the conference virtual platform, and complete any preparations by the designated deadlines. All presenters shall abide by the Event Code of Conduct outlined in the Conference Registration Form.

    • I confirm that I have agreed to participate as a presenter, moderator or panelist in the above described presentation(s), and I will supply certain program materials in electronic or tangible form in support of the presentation(s). With respect to the presentation(s) and the materials, I grant to the NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference, its employees agents, and conference host, iKeepSafe, the following:

      Permission to make audio, video recordings, and photographs to be owned by iKeepSafe and NICE by any means and in any media of my presentation(s) and to use my name, photograph, and biographical information in connection with the reproduction, distribution, and promotion of the presentation(s) and recordings;

      A license to incorporate into the recordings, in whole or in part, any written speeches, visual aids, and other visual or written materials used, performed, displayed, or provided by me in connection with my presentation(s) including, without limitation, a license to record any public performance of the materials;

      The right, on a nonexclusive basis, to reproduce in any medium and make derivative works based upon, to publish the materials in official meeting proceedings of the event, and to distribute, display and perform to NICE K12 Cybersecurity Education Conference attendees and others the presentation(s), recordings, or materials, in whole or in part, by means of the internet, by physical media, print media, posting in pdf format on NICE K12 Conference, NICE, and iKeepSafe websites, or by any other means.

      I warrant and represent that all of the content in the materials is either my own original work or, if any of the content in the presentation or materials in not original (including but not limited to images, graphs or text) then I have acquired the necessary permission to modify, copy and redistribute the content for which I am not the copyright holder, so as to allow NICE and iKeepSafe to copy and redistribute such content as part of the presentation(s) and materials without infringing upon any patent, trademark, or copyright, or violating any right to privacy, of any third party.

      The rights granted in this Presenter Consent and Release are granted without compensation on a perpetual, world-wide, royalty-free and irrevocable basis.

      To the extent my presentation(s) or the materials are protected by copyright law, I reserve all rights to myself except as otherwise granted above. I understand that NICE and iKeepSafe will credit me any reuse of the presentation(s) or materials.
