JCI Michigan Outstanding Young Michiganders Honors Program
The JCI MI Outstanding Young Michigander program was started in 1955 to recognize outstanding community leaders ages 18 and 40 years old from around the state of Michigan. The program honors up to five (5) Outstanding Young Michiganders (OYM).
AWARDS
The Outstanding Young Michigander honors program recognizes young people based on their achievements and contributions to their community. These individuals exemplify the Jaycee philosophies and ideals.
SUBMISSION PROCESS
It is not required that the nominee or nominator be a member of the Jaycees. Local Chapters may nominate up to two (2) individuals.
DEADLINES AND NOTIFICATIONS
All submissions are due electronically by 11:59 p.m. on June 30, 2026. Notification of winners will be communicated to both nominees and nominators the week of July 13, 2026.
OYM AWARDS BANQUET
The JCI Michigan Outstanding Young Michigander program will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2026 in Holland, Michigan. Information on the banquet will be included in the winners’ notification letter. Winners will be announced to the media prior to the Honors program. Each Winner will receive two (2) complimentary tickets to the awards banquet. Additional tickets may be purchased. For more information surrounding the event for the weekend, please visit jcimi.org
